Bulley retired from elite netball at the end of 2015 however returned to the court for two years to represent the GIANTS before officially calling time at the end of 2018.
Over the past 12 months, Bulley has continued to be a part of the GIANTS setup as a specialist coach working with the defensive end.
She has also been the assistant coach of the Canberra GIANTS who finished fourth in the Australian Netball League this year.

The newly appointed coach is looking forward to her increased involvement with the club and is excited for the Academy to commence.
“I think it is a fantastic initiative and opportunity that Netball NSW and GIANTS Netball are providing for the next generation of athletes.
“I wasn’t lucky enough to have this bridging and development program when I was coming through the ranks, but it’s so pleasing to see how far the game and the investment in players with potential has grown,” Bulley said.
Current GIANTS assistant coach Jenny O’Keeffe will be the program manager, with both Bulley and O’Keeffe strongly aligned with the Super Netball program of the GIANTS.
O’Keefe has a wealth of experience coaching representative and club netball within Netball NSW and will continue in the role of assistant coach for the Suncorp Super Netball team.
Coach of GIANTS Netball Julie Fitzgerald will oversee the program and is looking forward to the Academy commencing.
“I’m thrilled to be able to work alongside Bec and Jenny and I have every confidence that they’ll create a professional program to assist in the pathway to elite netball.
“It’s fantastic to have Bec still involved with the GIANTS. Her expertise and experience as a player is a huge asset to her coaching and will be invaluable for the next generation,” said Fitzgerald.
“I can’t wait to see the quality of players we get at trials and for the program to commence,” said Fitzgerald.
Nominations for the academy are currently open and close Monday 23rd September.
