That 13-point margin at three-quarter time proved insurmountable for Queensland, though a late surge allowed them rescue the margin to single digits.
Jo Harten finished with 47 points for the GIANTS.
GIANTS midcourters Jamie-Lee Price and Maddie Hay supplied English international Harten and shooting colleague Sophie Dwyer with plenty of accurate ball.
