GIANTS shooter Matisse Letherbarrow will miss this Sunday’s round 11 clash against the Sunshine Coast Lightning.
The round five game changer injured her foot at training on Tuesday, with scans ruling out any serious structural damage.
The 22-year-old was given until Thursday’s main training to prove her availability but was unable to prove her fitness.
The GIANTS shooter will be a test for next week’s trip to Perth.
GIANTS young gun and first year training partner, Monika ‘Otai has been named as the match day replacement for Letherbarrow.
The GIANTS take on the Lightning on Sunday at 4pm at UniSC Arena on the Sunshine Coast.
