1. At what age did you start playing netball? And how did you become involved?
Eight years old at Heathcote Waratah Netball Association,
2. What was the first position you started playing? If that's not the position you play now, how and when did that change come about?
I was filling in for my sisters team and i think it was at GA and C.
3. What has been the hardest part of your netball career to date?
Definitely the toughest decision was to move to Perth away from home to get some more experience and court time. Turned out to be the best decision I made!
4. What is your go to activity when you need to switch off from netball?
Going for a bushwalk with the family. My son makes it pretty easy to switch off from netball, he keeps me very busy.
5. Who has been the most influential person (player or coach) on your career to date?
I've been blessed to have been in teams with some of the worlds best players and coaches, I couldn't single any one person out. Each have opened my mind to new ideas and made me a better player and person. Forever thankful for the opportunity to be around incredible humans.
6. What's a key message you would tell your younger self in regards to netball?
You're there for a reason back yourself babe.
7. What impact has netball had your life?
Its been a huge part of my life - netball is like any good love affair it's intense and exhilarating at the start, then it is super comfortable and meaningful and then you cant picture your life without it! Super grateful for all the experiences and friends I've made through the sport I love.
8. What is your greatest/proudest netball achievement?
Being apart of building relationships and a great culture, particularly at my time in Collingwood Magpies in 2019. It was a special group of people to play with.
9. What is the most memorable piece of advice you have received? Or most memorable quote that inspires you to train/play a certain way?
Don't overthink it!
