1. At what age did you start playing netball? And how did you become involved?
Six, my Mum got me into it and I haven’t looked back (thanks Mum!)
2. What was the first position you started playing? If that's not the position you play now, how and when did that change come about?
My favourite was definitely GD and then when I got into the Magic in 2013, I got told I was too short so moved on up to WD
3. What is your go to activity when you need to switch off from netball?
Go away to the Sunny Coast and be by the beach or go to the boyfriends farm and get away.
4. Who has been the most influential person (player or coach) on your career to date?
I feel like my parents are, I am very fortunate to have had so many positive role models growing up. I've had the likes of my Dad and Uncle playing at the elite level in Rugby League and then my Mum always being there supporting us kids growing up; running around after us doing what we wanted while Dad was away.
5. What's a key message you would tell your younger self in regards to netball?
Do what makes you happy, don’t worry about what others think or feel about you.
6. What impact has netball had your life?
Huge! I think that netball has always been there for me since a young girl. It’s my escape away from real life when things aren’t always going the way you want them too. You make friends for life and meet some great people. It always challenges me whether it’s at training or games and of course helps you stay out of trouble.
7. What is your greatest/proudest netball achievement?
I think putting on that green and gold dress - can never take that for granted.
8. What is the most memorable piece of advice you have received? Or most memorable quote that inspires you to train/play a certain way?
It's not a quote, but my parents constantly remind that I am good at what I do because I am me!
