Jodi-Ann Ward

One of the league’s best goal defenders, Jamaican superstar Jodi-Ann Ward joined the GIANTS ahead of the 2024 season following time with Collingwood. Named in the 2023 Suncorp Super Netball Team of the Year, the 178cm defender is most at home in goal defence but can play in both wing defence and goal keeper if required. Known for her aggressive and attacking style of defence, the Jamaican can cover ground quickly and win ball all across the court. Her long arms and her vertical leap are some of her key athletic attributes that make her the dominant player that she is.
