2022 Charity Partners Confirmed

The GIANTS are pleased to announce partnership extensions with club charity partners Ronald McDonald House Greater Western Sydney and Butterfly Foundation.
Both partnerships were first launched in 2021 and the GIANTS are delighted to continue their ongoing support of both charities.
A community-based club, the GIANTS relish the opportunity to be able to support, promote, educate, and give their time to projects and people in need.
Ronald McDonald House Charities Greater Western Sydney will be promoting their Dance for Sick Kids campaign this Saturday when the GIANTS host the Melbourne Vixens at Ken Rosewall Arena.
In between their busy schedule, the team will spend time with the families at the House, helping to cook up a storm through the Meals from the Heart campaign.
Amy Parmenter and Tilly McDonell will continue to work with Ronald McDonald House as player ambassadors.

Through their ongoing partnership with Butterfly Foundation, the GIANTS are passionate about educating and supporting young females dealing with eating disorders and body image issues.
GIANTS Netball Executive General Manager, Tim Underwood, said giving back to the community is an integral part of the purpose of the club.
“We talk on-court about doing things the GIANTS way and that approach applies off-court as well,” Mr Underwood said.
“We want to engage, interact and genuinely offer our support to the communities around us.
“It’s an honour to continue to work alongside both Ronald McDonald House Greater Western Sydney and the Butterfly Foundation and to support the life-changing work they are doing across our communities.”
Belinda Woolford, CEO of Ronald McDonald House Greater Western Sydney said the organisation was proud to partner with the GIANTS again.
“We’re grateful to partner with the GIANTS and for their genuine willingness to support RMHC GWS and families in care,” she said.
“This support is shown by everyone from their CEO Tim Underwood to the players – in particular our beautiful Ambassadors Tilly McDonnell and Amy Parmenter, and the club’s wonderful wider team”
Kevin Barrow, Chief Executive of Butterfly Foundation, echoed the joy of the other partners in aligning with the club.
“As the national body for eating disorders and body image concerns, this partnership provides a significant opportunity for Butterfly to reach more young people and their families,” he said.
“Our prevention services support positive messaging and role modelling to schools, parents and the community, and this partnership will help us build on this valuable work.
“With the GIANTS’ support we can work towards changing the way young people talk to themselves and each other about their bodies, moving to a place where everyone can accept and appreciate their body and what it can do.”
