Five GIANTS will give the Samsung Australian Diamonds a testing session on Wednesday as they take to the court as part of a Netball NSW composite side.
With the Diamonds’ training camp in Sydney this week, Lisa Alexander’s team will play a practice match against a team featuring Kim Green, Sam Poolman, Kiera Austin, Amy Parmenter and Kristiana Manu’a as well as a sprinkling of Swifts players.
With GIANTS favourites Caitlin Bassett and Jamie-Lee Price representing their country at next month’s World Cup, Wednesday will make for fascinating viewing as regular team mates face off as opponents.
With some new and familiar faces coming together for the Diamonds ahead of the World Cup, the game will be played as six 15 minute periods.
GIANTS Members and Fans are invited to come and watch the practice match at Netball Central this Wednesday morning with the game getting underway at 10.45am.
