The league has locked in its Round 11 fixture, in a move to ensure all eight clubs can play as many home games as possible.
The league has brought forward the Round 14 fixture, which means the GIANTS will next face the Sunshine Coast Lightning at USC stadium at 3:00pm (AEST) on Saturday 17 July.
After relocating from New South Wales to Queensland and then Victoria, the GIANTS are currently under stay at home restrictions as part of the increased COVID protocols the league put in place.
The Victorian Government announced this week that the Sunshine Coast have been downgraded from red to orange zone.
The GIANTS will await further advice from the league on future rounds as to where they base themselves moving forward.
Netball Australia CEO Kelly Ryan said the league was pleased to lock in another blockbuster round of netball.
“We are continuing to work with state governments and health authorities to protect the season and ensure that all eight clubs play as many home games as possible,” Ryan said.
“We will continue to monitor the health advice and update the fixture on a weekly basis. We are determined to make the season as fair as possible for the teams and give our fans every opportunity to watch live netball.”
