GIANTS Netball will join seven other Suncorp Super Netball clubs in Queensland today to play out the season.
The GIANTS were unable to fly from Adelaide to Brisbane yesterday after being linked to an exposure site in Melbourne.
The Victorian and the Queensland Governments have since revised the exposure site. After confirming that the GIANTS are not linked to the site, they have been cleared to travel this afternoon.
All clubs are adhering to enhanced league protocols in Queensland, which includes stay at home restrictions.
The league and all clubs, players, coaches and staff are constantly monitoring exposure sites.
“We are delighted to have all eight Suncorp Super Netball clubs in Queensland to complete the season,” said Netball Australia CEO Kelly Ryan.
“The league is closely monitoring exposure sites and working with state governments to protect the health and wellbeing of all players, staff and umpires, as well as the broader community.”
