In the lead up to the 2020 Suncorp Super Netball Grand Final this Sunday, let's take a look at the two teams involved and how they matched up against the GIANTS this season.
The West Coast Fever will this Sunday take on the minor-premiers, the Melbourne Vixens, in the 2020 Super Netball Grand Final.
After a slow start to the 2020 season, the Fever dominated from midway through, losing just one game in the second half of the season.
The Fever found themselves in third position at the end of the 14-round season and defeated both the NSW Swifts and Sunshine Coast Lightning to secure themselves a spot in the Grand Final.
The GIANTS and the Fever first met in round three of Suncorp Super Netball, where the GIANTS recorded their first win of the season.
Captain Jo Harten was at her best as she helped lead her team to a seven-goal victory.
The win was topped off with the celebration of Caitlin Bassett’s 200th National League Game and the 50th game for GIANTS Netball.

The two teams met for the second occasion up in Far North Queensland as part of the competition-wide Indigenous Round.
After a strong opening-half from the GIANTS, it was the Fever who dominated the third to set themselves up for what ended up as a five-goal victory.
Jamie-Lee Price was strong for the GIANTS throughout the mid-court, as was Maddie Hay, and Sam Poolman did all that she could to try and restrict the impact of the league’s most dominant goal shooter; Jhaniele Fowler.
The round 13 loss to the Fever put a halt to the GIANTS’ slim chances of a top-four finish.
