In the lead up to the 2020 Suncorp Super Netball Grand Final this Sunday, let's take a look at the two teams involved and how they matched up against the GIANTS this season.
The Melbourne Vixens were the first of two teams to cement themselves a spot in the 2020 Grand Final.
The Vixens have sat atop of the Super Netball ladder for majority of the season, acting as a somewhat of a benchmark for the other teams.
The (usually) Melbourne-based side finished the regular season with 11 wins, two losses and one draw.
The GIANTS and the Vixens first met in round six at the University of Sunshine Coast with the Vixens snatching the victory courtesy of a dominant third quarter.
Kiera Austin was a strong contributor for the GIANTS, shooting at 100% for the first three quarters on the both the regular shot and Suncorp Super Shot.

The two teams met three rounds and nine days later at Brisbane’s Nissan Arena.
Despite being Jamie-Lee Price’s 100th National League game, the GIANTS struggled to challenge the now minor premiers.
The GIANTS were the first to hit the scoreboard, but it was the Vixens who led from there on in as they pushed on to secure a convincing victory.
Price was the most impressive for the GIANTS in her milestone game, collecting 97.5 Nissan Net Points courtesy of 10 deflections, two intercepts and nine goal assists.
