GIANTS star Jamie-Lee Price will look to continue her stellar 2023 campaign on Monday as Australia’s mission for a record 12th Netball World Cup continues.
Price and her Diamonds teammates will take on Scotland in Cape Town, South Africa on Monday (5pm EST) in their first of three second-round matches following a dominant opening-round performance.
Australia obliterated all before them in the opening round, smashing Zimbabwe (86-30) and Tonga (85-38) before saving its best for last with a 101-32 pummelling of Fiji.
After finishing on top of Pool A, the Diamonds will now face Scotland, Malawi and England in the coming days looking to advance to the semi-finals.
Price will be hoping she can carry on with her dazzling form for the Diamonds which saw her named Player of the Match in their convincing win over Tonga on Saturday.
Price starred at centre to be judged best on court - finishing with 33 feeds and four gains in a standout performance.
The 27-year-old’s red-hot form for Australia comes on the back of a dominant season for the GIANTS in which she was named the 2023 HCF Most Valuable Player.
The GIANTS star also took home the Members’ Player of the Year and Players’ Player awards following her career-best season.
