What a journey.
When I first pulled on the GIANTS dress and made my debut in 2021, I knew I was joining something special.
Back then, what I probably didn't understand was just how much this club, and the people within it, would come to mean to me.
For six seasons, I’ve had the privilege of representing the GIANTS. I’ve shared incredible highs, heartbreaking lows, huge moments, tough moments and memories that will stay with me long after my playing days are over.
But the thing I’ll remember most is the people.
The members who have been there by our side year after year. The fans in the stands bringing the noise, kids asking for an autograph after a game and the families wearing orange. The volunteers, the staff, former players – some true legends of the sport - and everyone who has helped build this club over the past decade.
Together, we created the GIANTS story.
A story that will always be part of us.
Today, we begin writing the next chapter.
The GIANTS are becoming the Sydney Sirens.
It’s a new name with new colours, a new story and a new identity.
But this isn't about forgetting where we've come from.
It's about taking everything we've built together over the last 10 years and carrying it forward into something new.
The friendships. The memories. The battles. The pride. The people.
Keeping the family together.
I couldn't be more excited about where we're going next.
There’s something powerful about the Sirens.
They’re bold. They’re fierce. They command attention.
Sirens are impossible to ignore.
That’s exactly the kind of club we want to become.
A club that makes noise. A club that stands for something. A club that represents Sydney with pride and invites everyone to be a part of it.
We’re about community over celebrity and we don't want to build this without you.
We want the people who have been part of our past at the heart of our future.
We want you in the stands. We want you wearing the new colours. We want you making noise with us. We want the next generation of players and fans to grow up knowing what it means to be a Siren.
There will be plenty to reveal and celebrate in the weeks and months ahead, and I genuinely can't wait for you to see what we're building.
Ten years ago, a new netball club began its journey.
Today, that journey doesn't end.
