Members and fans will get the chance to get their first look at the GIANTS in 2022 on Wednesday, 2 February when they take on the Sunshine Coast Lightning in a pre-season match at Netball Central.
The event will kick off at 5:30pm with a curtain raiser between the next generation of GIANTS and Lightning talent, with the two academies facing off in a friendly.
The main match will get underway when the first centre pass is taken at 7:00pm.
The GIANTS last hosted the Lightning in round seven of season 2021, at Ken Rosewall Arena. However, the last time the two sides met was in round 12, with scores levelled at the end of the 60-minutes of play, forcing the match into extra time.
Both teams have different looking line-ups in season 2022, with notable ins and outs across the two teams.
Lauren Moore will play as a GIANT for the first time, while former GIANTS Training Partner Annie Miller will return home to play against her former side.
