Jamie-Lee Price is one of five midcourts named for the upcoming Netball Quad Series in London in January next year.
Price will join captain Liz Watson, Ash Brazill, Paige Hadley and Kate Moloney as the Diamonds take on the English Roses, New Zealand Silver Ferns and South African SPAR Proteas.
Following making her Diamonds debut in 2018, Price has played 18 games for her nation representing the green and gold in the Constellation Cup (2018, 2019, 2021), Quad Series (2019) and Netball World Cup (2019).
Price had a dominant 2021 Suncorp Super Netball season and will be looking to continue that form on the international stage.
Price, Moloney and Watson all represented the Diamonds in the side's last official international outing in March 2021, with Hadley a member of the squad and Brazill out with a knee injury.
Watson has not played a game since, with the now-captain ruled out of the 2021 Super Netball Season with a foot injury.
“We’re delighted Liz and Ash will return to the court alongside a fast and attacking midcourt with Paige, Kate and Jamie-Lee,” said Origin Australian Diamonds head coach Stacey Marinkovich.
“Each athlete brings a unique skillset to the tour squad and we’re looking forward to seeing these combinations on the court in January.”
Goalers and midcourts have now been announced for the Quad Series tour, with Price joining teammate GIANTS Sophie Dwyer.
The defenders will be announced tomorrow to round out the squad for the series in January.
