The GIANTS and the Swifts will fine tune their respective preparations for the 2026 Suncorp Super Netball season when the sides meet in a hotly anticipated pre-season clash at Netball Central on Thursday 5 March at 7pm.
With the GIANTS and Swifts on the road in round 1 a week later, the game is a chance for Members of both clubs to see their sides in action ahead of the Blockbuster Round 2 Double Header at Qudos Bank Arena on Sunday 22 March.
It may only be a pre-season game, but you can be guaranteed that neither side will want to give an inch.
Here are just some of the highlights Members can expect:
- Former Swift Nerida Stewart leading the GIANTS as head coach
- GIANTS Legend Jo Harten coaching the Swifts’ attack end
- Battle of the Ferns: Grace Nweke v Jane Watson
With in-season Derbies normally attracting crowds of 10,000 fans at Ken Rosewall Arena, this game is a rare chance to see some of the best players in the world go head-to-head in an intimate environment.
Tickets for the clash are extremely limited, but 2026 GIANTS and Swifts Members will be given a 48-hour pre-sale window* to purchase general admission seats.
Should any tickets remain at the end of the window they will go sale to the General Public.
