Amy Sligar will miss this Saturday’s round eight match with the Adelaide Thunderbirds due to concussion.
Sligar sustained the concussion at training earlier this week and under Netball’s Australia’s Concussion Protocols, was ruled out of this weekend’s match.
She will continue to be monitored by the GIANTS’ medical staff as she works through the minimum 12-day return to play protocols.
The 21-year-old will be replaced in this week’s squad by training partner Taylah Davies.
The GIANTS take on the Thunderbirds on Saturday night at 7pm at Ken Rosewall Arena.
