The remaining 2023 international netball fixture just keeps getting better.
Off the back of Thursday’s Men’s Netball/Constellation Cup double header announcement, today Netball Australia has announced that the Diamonds will host the SPAR Proteas in a three-game series from October 25-31.
The homecoming of the newly crowned World Cup Gold Medallists will begin on Thursday, October 12 when the Diamonds host the Silver Ferns in the first of the four-match Constellation Cup series.
Backing it up for the second game on home soil, the two teams will face off at the Brisbane Convention Centre on Sunday, October 15.
The remaining two games will be played in New Zealand at Invercargill and Auckland.
Double headers with the newly named Australian Men’s side, the Kelpies, will be held during games one (Melbourne), two (Brisbane) and four (Auckland), with the men battling it out for the Trans-Tasman Cup.
Australia currently holds both the Trans-Tasman Cup and Constellation Cup.
History will be made when the Diamonds host the Proteas at the end of October, with games to be played for the first time in Cairns and Hobart.
The Diamonds didn’t face the host nation at the recent Netball World in Cape Town and haven’t faced them in a standalone competition since 2005.
GIANTS stars Jamie-Lee Price, Amy Parmenter and Sophie Dwyer will all be up for selection for the two upcoming series here on home soil.
All three series will be broadcast live and exclusively in Australia on Fox Sports, available through Foxtel and Kayo Freebies.
General public tickets to all three series will go on sale on Tuesday, August 15 at 11:00am through Ticketek.
