Sports Entertainment Group (SEG) today unveiled the Sydney Sirens, introducing a bold new identity for the organisation's second Super Netball licence ahead of the 2027 season.
Built on the proud foundations and legacy of GIANTS Netball, the Sydney Sirens represent the beginning of a new chapter for elite netball in New South Wales, one shaped by ambition, innovation, community and a commitment to growing the game right across the state.
The club's new identity draws inspiration from the concept of the Siren: a commanding, magnetic force that captures attention through presence, not apology. Impossible to ignore.
The Sirens logo brings together the power of the Siren and the energy of the ocean, creating a mark that is uniquely Sydney and unmistakably bold. Every element, from the trident crown to the flowing tail, reflects strength, movement and connection.
The refreshed colour palette of coral and teal reimagine the club’s traditional colours, drawing inspiration from the ocean while honouring the team's history. The palette creates depth, contrast and a fresh visual identity that feels both modern and connected to its roots.
The Sirens will continue to represent New South Wales on the national stage, carrying forward the proud legacy built in Western Sydney while creating a club that reflects the energy, diversity and ambition of modern Sydney.
CEO of SEN Teams, Richard Simkiss, said the launch marked a defining moment in the club's history.
"Today is much more than the unveiling of a new name and logo. It's the beginning of an exciting new era for netball in New South Wales," Simkiss said.
"The Sydney Sirens is a powerful, distinctive and contemporary identity that reflects exactly what we want this club to become. Ambitious, welcoming, fiercely competitive and impossible to ignore.
"We have enormous respect for everything that has been built over the past decade. The players, staff, members, fans and partners who created the GIANTS story have laid a strong foundation, and we are proud to carry that legacy forward.
"This club will always be driven by community. We want existing members and supporters to see themselves in this next chapter while also creating something that attracts new audiences and inspires the next generation of netball fans and athletes.
"We believe the Sydney Sirens can become one of the most recognisable and influential brands in Australian women's sport, and this is only the beginning."
