A trio of GIANTS have been named across the two squads set to represent the Origin Australian Diamonds in the upcoming Constellation Cup and England series this October and November.
Jamie-Lee Price and Amy Parmenter have been named in both the Constellation Cup and England series squads, with Sophie Dwyer also named for the battle with the trans-Tasman rivals.
Price has 21-games experience at the international level but unfortunately missed out on selection for the most recent Commonwealth Games Squad, but travelled with the team as a training partner.
For Parmenter and Dwyer, if the opportunity arises for them to take the court, they will be making their debut in the Green and Gold.
GIANTS Head Coach Julie Fitzgerald congratulated the trio.
“This is a really exciting announcement for all three of them,” Fitzgerald said.
“Jamie-Lee was obviously disappointed to miss out on the Commonwealth Games but now she gets the chance to pull on the green and gold again and show what she is capable of.
“We were hopeful that Amy and Sophie’s opportunities weren’t too far away, so I’m sure everyone shares my excitement of seeing what they can do on the international stage.”
