They Sydney Sirens have completed their inaugural roster with the signing of defender Teigan O'Shannassy ahead of the 2027 Super Netball season.
O'Shannassy's return marks a full-circle moment for the Netball NSW pathway product, who made her Super Netball debut with the GIANTS in 2019 before spending the past five seasons with cross-town rivals the NSW Swifts.
A dynamic defender capable of impacting across multiple positions, O'Shannassy adds great depth to the Sirens defensive unit. A member of Australia's 2024 Fast5 Netball World Series-winning team and a Diamonds squad invitee in 2025, the 27-year-old has proven she can match it with the very best when given the opportunity.
"I'm so excited to be crossing town and joining the Sirens family!" O'Shannassy said.
"To have the opportunity to be part of building something new while also honouring a great history is a privilege, and something I'm incredibly proud to be a part of.
"I can't wait to get started with pre-season and link up with the team as we begin working towards 2027."
Sydney Sirens Head Coach Nerida Stewart said O'Shannassy embodies the qualities the club is looking to build the inaugural squad around.
"Teigan is a player who has worked incredibly hard for every opportunity throughout her career, and we're thrilled to welcome her to the Sydney Sirens," Stewart said.

O'Shannassy completes the Sydney Sirens' squad for 2027, joining Sophie Dwyer, Molly Jovic, Matisse Letherbarrow, Grace Nweke, Claire O'Brien, Erin O'Brien, Amy Sligar, Jodi-Ann Ward and Hope White.
