GIANTS star Jamie-Lee Price will miss this Saturday’s round eight match with the Melbourne Vixens due to injury.
Price suffered obvious cramping in the final minutes of last weekend’s game against the Mavericks, resulting in an awkward landing which later saw her leave the court.
Delayed symptoms prompted a precautionary scan early this week confirming a minor knee injury for the GIANTS’ co-captain.
The GIANTS’ star will be rested and monitored this week and will be a test for the round nine clash with the Firebirds at Ken Rosewall Arena.
Price will be replaced in this Saturday’s team by training partner Gina Crampton.
